HMRC Compliance

We are registered and approved by HMRC as an accounting services provider. All of our practices and systems are fully compliant and we stay up to date with all guidelines. 

We are also authorised to use HMRC's online gateway for submissions. This cuts out the need for hard copies, speeds up submission, and provides online visibility of information.

MSC Legislation Compliance

As the UK’s leading contractor accountants it’s important that we are compliant with all relevant legislation. An example is Managed Service Company (MSC) legislation.

A few years ago Managed Service Companies emerged to provide contractors with services to manage the tax and administration on their behalf. 

They grouped together contractors under ‘managed service’ schemes, bypassing key tax laws and avoiding IR35. HMRC viewed these as taking advantage of tax loopholes and so ruled out the use of MSCs. 

So, contractors need to know that their accountant is not caught by MSC legislation or taking related risks. We have been audited, found NOT to be a MSC, and fully compliant.
